There are many good Thia's and bad Thia's. We must accept a reality of life. We are the consumers and we should educate our people and decide where and what we should do as a consumer. China is our next door neighbor and so is Vietnam. I am sure we are the good consumer of theirs too. The most important thing is keep our unique culture alive!!! and stop the bad foreign influence!!!

Laos import most of its products and produces because the county is extremely underdevelope.
The country is run by people that are unfit for the job of running a country. They only steal and take advantage of its people. To bring change into laos, the people there must want change. stop worry about who has what, or what Thailand did. Learn from the mistakes that our ancestor made and march forward. To better ourselves, preserve our culture, and bring prosperity to our laos-we have to educate ourselves about our past, present, and where we wanna go.Don't worry about thailand-they have there own problems. Me, personally i would like to see the return of a constitutinal monarchy to laos( Japan, England, and Thailand are constitutinal monarchies). Laos has just as enough potential as any other nation.Our greatest asset is the Lao people. Look at Japan-a nation with little natural resources, but its the 2 largest economy in the world. anyways "surpass today, what u were yesterday"

i m uncomfortable at you use laos is slave of thai . because we are neibourhood so it dont strange we will absorb in each other culture . i know this your opinion come from laos revolution war at thai live with american but that is backlongtime ago why we will strict in action of older people . why we will move forward with each other . dont you remember thai and laos can speak and can write to understand by dont learning . that clinch we are same race  |

History is the history, we can draw many lessons from the history.
I heard many Thai look down on Lao. Some said that Lao used to be under Siam in the past and now Lao is under Thai dominant on cultural and economy again. That is why I want to against those Thai people who said such thing by reducing Thai staffs consumption.
If you are Thai, it is better for you to educate your friends and people not to look down on Lao.
You should educate your own people to know that history is just the history. Do not so pround too much with your past agressive behavior on neigbour and do not use history to look down other people.
If you want Lao and Thai move forward, just tell your people stop do the disgusting behavior.
I think you get it.

You have many bias . i think most of thai poeple dont look down to Lao people . Our contry teachs alway " we are brother town or Ban Pee Muang Nong" . i had Lao friend in university .I dont see anyone look down him. i love Lao because Lao culture make me back to child feeling . Lao and Thai have same great culture . But just a moment thai Culture dilute with civilization and developement . So i want Lao people preserve his/her culture for long time . please new understand OK. dont have anything. if i dont look down Lao in case that we will good say anything in this board. In case of you, I understand. But in case of someone who strongly look down Lao, I have to act some thing. Coud you also tell Thai in Thai website that just only some Lao who made a bad commend about Thai. Do not hate all Lao. Currently, I also saw some said they start to hate Lao because of some Lao. It is very difficult issue right?

Oh yeah! i agree on the economy point of views lao ppl didn't want or didn't like anythings that imported from china, and what can lao produce of any products to support their own ppls.
lao rely on immport and yet other aide from developing countries. Shame on lao govs com****** party so as long these f**ker in power lao will remain suffer. cuz no develope countries want to do bussiness with these f**ker.

Not all thai's are like what you think 'TheLao'. I am Thai, I have visited yr country many times and love it. - Unlike the guys who write those propaganda rubbish, my viewpoint and opinions do not focus around Thailand as the center of the universe. -and i am certain i am not the only one here.

   You guy know what everytime I surf laowebsite, and there you go conflict of Lao&Thai, and Hey some of you blaming on government of Lao, come on give them a break, they are doing their best, instead blaming them why you lao people over sea come back and help out, not just running your months over their (Oh we gonna go back to take our country back). With thai and lao, for F**k sake we are all human, let try to get alone for the good future. What we all talk about today it's not gonna help. Let try to go back to learn history a little bite (for those who talk about Laos). you will all understand why laos are like this now a day. And as for Lao, try to learn how to love other too.
