Asian Vision Channel to be launched in October
TV viewers will soon have another channel to tune to Ethe new Asian Vision Channel Eas early as October.
The TV channel is a joint venture between Lao Chanthabouli TV Digital Network and Thailand’s Between Millennium Co Ltd. Both companies pumped in a total of 100 million Thai Baht in the project.
Representatives from both companies met at Don Chanh Palace Hotel to ink the deal for the establishment of the TV channel yesterday. Mr Viphet Sihachak, President of Lao Chanthabouli TV Digital Network and Mr Arunsak Ongla-or, Managing Director/ Executive Producer of Between Millennium Co Ltd co-signed the contract, witnessed by H.E. Phanduangchit Vongsa, Minister of Information and Culture and Thai Ambassor Ratnakit Manathat.
According to the TV channel’s spokesperson, the Asian Vision Channel will feature stories on the lifestyle and culture of ASEAN member countries.
Depending on demand and interest level, the channel will be available to more countries after the trial period.
At present, the TV channel is looking for staff who fit the bill.
