Schools go private
MORE private operators have set up schools in Vientiane capital to meet the rising demand.
Today, there are 134 private schools, including 27 whose business licences are pending approval. The Vientiane Capital Education Sector expects the number to rise, according to a meeting held on 18 May amongst private school operators. Most of the private schools are located in the four districts of Sisattanak, Chanthabouly, Sikhottabong and Xaysettha.
