The Fellow of British Dispensing Opticians Course provides scholars with the following qualifications:
Part 1: Upon completion of the first 3 years, scholars would be awarded:
The Fellow of British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO)
Part 2: Upon completion of the fourth year, scholars would be awarded:
1 year Advance Diploma in Contact Lens: Fellow of British Dispensing Opticians, Contact Lens (FBDO, CL)

In Malaysia, total number of qualified opticians is approximately 1,400. With Malaysiafs current population, the ratio of qualified opticians is 16,000 population to one practitioner. (1: 16,000)

RM 53,000 Scholarship is rewarded to each Qualified Student.
Entry Requirement
Age between 17 - 28 years
SPM / STPM or equivalent. Minimum requirement results for SPM:
SUBJECT GRADE
Mathematics 1-6
Science 1-6
2 Optional subject 1-6
English (preferable) 1-6
Main Features of Scholarship Program
EOG Scholarship Program worth RM 53,000 each. This includes course fees, examination fees, membership fees, text books accomodation etc.
Cash Award will be given for those who past the examination at first attempts.
