Laos was held to a 1-1 draw against Vietnam in the Southeast Asian U-20 Youth Football Championship, which kicked off in Indonesia two days ago.
Laos took a 1-0 lead just eighteen minutes in while Vietnam came from behind to level the game in the 72nd minute.
Next match, Laos will meet
VietnamĀfs coaching staff is not happy with the result as they had many good chances to put the game away but failed to score, and some players were not in top form for the game.
Just a day before the opening match, six Vietnam players and athletes from other nations got food poisoning from an unknown source, marring their performance.
Next, Laos will meet Singapore, Maldives, and East Timor.
