Vietnamese-invested plastic factory inaugurated in Vientiane
Vientiane, Nov. 1 (VNA) – The Saplast Vientiane Plastic Co. Ltd. was inaugurated by the Ho Chi Minh City-based Saigon Plastic Corporation in Vientiane, Laos, on Nov. 1.
The Vietnamese-invested plastic factory, which was capitalised at more than 1.3 million USD, has employed more than 100 local workers. It was designed to produce 1,500 tonnes of plastic products per year, half of which will be exported to Thailand’s north-eastern region and Myanmar.
Sinlavong Khuphaythoun, Vice Mayor of Vientiane capital city, confirmed that the factory is a vivid symbol of the good relationship between Vientiane of Laos and Ho Chi Minh City of Viet Nam.-Enditem
