Lao style Laap beef (beef salad) Ingredients 450 g prime beef 2 chopped garlic cloves 6 fresh chopped coriander leaves 2 teasthingys of fish sauce 2 teasthingy of lime juice 7 small sliced shallots 4 chopped red or green chilies 1 sliced lemon grass 1/2 cup fresh mint sprigs Black pepper Steps Cook the beef until medium rare and cut into small and thin slices Pound together the garlic, coriander, pepper, sauce, lime juice, and salt until smooth Add the cooked beef and stir Serve on plate, then sprinkle the chilies on top and garnish with the coriander leaves. Anyone mind to post or share the more traditional Lap Lao recipy tips? This sound more like the Thai version.

Real Lao style Laap, there are no garlic, no lemongrass and no black papper. The real Lao Laap use Padak and grill meat in meduim rare and the meat must be mined, not in thin slices.
