YOUNG entrepreneurs, ministers and government officials met on 5 April at Cosmo Hotel for a youth business forum, held for the first time in Laos.
Also present were Deputy Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh, and Mr Phetsakhone Luangaphay, Acting Executive of the Central Lao Youth Union.
This forum was a platform for young entrepreneurs to meet and share ideas with one another, said Mr Nouman Phanvongsa, President of the Youth Business Association.
Mr Bouasone commented that youths should be encouraged to start their own businesses and the government is more than willing to provide whatever resources that are required to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit. He took the opportunity to commend the Lao Youth Union for organising this seminar, which he said, was a great success.
