Tsunami donations up to a billion kip

THE tsunami fund taskforce committee office, now at the Foreign Ministry, says it has over one billion kip, US$29,000 and almost 130,000 baht in donations as a result of the public campaign.
The committee is still accepting donations by phone on 414002 (or mobile 0205687855) at the Foreign Ministry.
The Lao Development Bank account numbers have remained the same: 00.4521003.00174 for US dollars; 01.4521003.00001 for kip deposits; and 02.4521003.00001 for baht.
