Hi all,
becuase No Work, Not Good Salary, and Condition for living in aboard is much more better. For example, you work one year in Laos, you can't save money to build a house or what is for the basic life, but when you work oversea, you can save money a lot and send back to your family in Laos, to buy land, house, cars.... :-)

PS. Laos is very buatiful and peace place in the wolrd,but we must know that Laos is the poorest country in the world as well. (I LOVE LAOS) .....

Well, it's human nature that people choose to make their life better first before thinking of others - what you think. I'm currently working in Laos after graduating overseas. I do contributes some part to the development of my homeland by teaching at national uni with relatively low income. Nevertheless, I respect all my friends' decision to work overseas, at the end of the day money will always flow in to suppor their family. It's one way to stabilize kip value, isn't?

Remember one thing folks, it's not about helping your country it's about helping yourselve. If you get yourselves to the top, don't you think your country won't be benefiting from your work!!!

Cheers and do your best wherever you are. Just give it 1000% while your still have energy to work...

:(aey..i think this is not only the fault for the ppl who have their chance to study abroad to stay there or dont wanna be back to their own country!! but first you need to change about the employment in our own country, the employment degree, the level of qualification...etc all of that stuffs. If it a great place than who will not want to be back to their own country? As Laos is still not developing that far compare to others high level of employment, so overall i think the law for the scholarship from the government should change something about it, and just hope that all the laotian abroad student will have some thought about it and be back home(LAOS)....bye

I read a rude comic book with cartoons from Usa, Hustler magazin, it tells a story about people 'Never get enough' is about a girl who after graduated she had a job and marry, cartoon pictures showned at first her husband stuffed her mouth with a house and then a fridge and then a car...after that many rude things...so this book tried to give some idea 'when you live in a Material World you will never get enough...one big mac not enough, you have double cheese big mac...and famous people in Usa also not happy always divorce, strange world we live in....some country have king and not happy with their king, it must be something wrong there...nobody is perfect that's what Budhha said.

Yes you are right mr.hustler usa, even the land of Buddha, Nepal is the birth place of Buddha in the past the prince of this country went mad and shot all the member of his family, his father 'the Nepal King' his mother as well other in his family, after his uncle became King and now People is not happy...even in Buddha land...never happy, never enough....I am just afraid something nasty will happen in that country, because they are Maoist,...is a little bit likes Pol Pot.I hope they won't cut the king's ball off.

If You guy to scare about student not going home why don't You bring qualify teching professor to teach inside Laos. That way You will never let go a single student out of Laos.

Laos student not going back home cause $$$$ . BS ,BA You will make a few $1000. per year in Laos. In usa BSME, BSEE with couple years experience You will make some where $50k-$80k. This is the bottom line friend.

The main reason is that their salary is very low compare with another countries in the region, however, if they comeback the prefer to work with international organisations rather than with their governmant. first of all salary is only one thing to motivate them to country.

welp as for me i think lao student don't like to go back to home after finishing its becuss they wasn't born in laos and they had spend all their life in america but as for me im gone....im leaving after my high school gonna go found me a job and help kon lao over at laos. and help our country to become a better place to live and to visit....so that lao student might want to come back to laos and look at their country had change. and a much better place to live and stay.
